Saturday, November 29, 2014 - Opened by Otis. Decanted for several hours before dinner. 86% Cab Sauvignon and 14% Merlot. 3rd time I have had this wine (on release, in 2010 and now) and it has always shown well. I'm not sure if this wine ever closed down. Smoother and more elegant now than previous bottles. Notes of cherries, creme de cassis, plums and minerals. Solky tannins and a long lingering finish. I have a pair of magnums which should easily hold for another 20-30 years. 96 points
