Saturday, January 31, 2015 - From Coravin. Developed in the glass over 1.5 hour. Fantastic nose. Plum, cassis, toasted oak, leather, and damp forest floor. Full-bodied and dense. Straddles power and elegance. Round with silky tannins. Long finish. I feel this is in a nice place right now, and should remain in its drinking window for at least a decade. The structure is there. The style here seems to be in the middle of the '03 and '96 Leoville Poyferre.
