Sunday, June 25, 2017 - Uniquely St. Julien with finesse
It is purple and has some observable sediments. It reveals cassis, forrest floor and leathery notes. It has a relatively light body and fruity acidity, with notes of spice. The palate is well supported by the generous minerality, which is full of St. Julien quality.
The body is richer towards the end of the bottle, but it is still quite thin among Bordeaux wine from other appellations.
Ready to drink now
P.S.: My father does not appreciate this wine for its light body and weak tannin. He says it is rather diluted. Perhaps, St. Julien wine of finesse is not for everyone.
