Tuesday, February 6, 2018 - Drank at Mistrals last nite from decanter. Very similar experience as with the last time I had this wine, though I didn't love it quite as much this time around. Medium ruby color, nose of red berries and some wood. Not much in the way of any tertiary aromas here. Soft, silky, elegant wine, with smooth tannins which were still fairly evident. The fruit was fairly well extracted, but didn't come off as particularly. The finish was also a bit short.
