Sunday, September 30, 2018 - This is starting to drink well, albeit with 10+ hours in the decanter, and is a magnificent wine. The nose is incredible with heady aromas of plum and blackcurrent, and seems never-ending. It really needs the extended time in the decanter at this stage in order to blow away some of the rough edges of the tannin, which is still in evolvement. However, the depth of the palate, and a 60 second finish, means that this is a potential 100 pointer in the future. If you have a decent amount of stock do not hesitate to start enjoying this with sufficient aeration, but it is going to get a lot better over the next few years.
