Sunday, February 7, 2021 - Showing just beautifully tonight and the most open wine in the 2000 second growth tasting as expected. Simply gorgeous purity with wonderful flavors of blackberry and black cherry fruit and a floral perfume that is just so enticing. The finish is ultra-smooth and complex with notes of graphite minerals and sweet tobacco. I would drink this now and over the next 5 years while waiting for the Las Cases and the Barton to come around.
