Wednesday, December 31, 2008 - Opened and decanted 3 hours to drinking. A little sediment seen upon decanting. Nice purple color, tannins nicely integrated after 3 hrs. Nice nose of black fruits, tar and a little menthol. Very nice fruit, started to fade after another 2 hrs or so. Maybe lacks a little weight. Very enjoyable wine....drinking very well now. Have 2 bottles left maybe I'll revisit in another year.
