Tuesday, June 1, 2021 - Magnificent bottle of wine. Good cork, moderate amount of sediment. Would recommend decanting and allowing one or two hours of air. This wine has so much flavor, finish, complexity, and wonderful mouthfeel throughout. Simply marvelous. Opened and tasted compared to the 2000 Lagrange, which was also excellent, but the Leoville Poyferre was the clear winner - classic, complex, and 100% delicious. 96+
