Tuesday, February 18, 2020 - Dark red in color. Wonderful nose shows lifted Vosne spice, sandalwood, dark candied cherry, hint of graphite and smoke. Large scaled in the mouth showing sweet dark macerated cherries, cocoa, no tannins, medium acidity, toasty oak still present and perfumed finish. If not for the toasty oak the wine would have merited a higher score.
