Saturday, May 30, 2015 - Allowed to slow ox in the fridge for a few hours before serving. Nose of raspberry jam with some creamy vanilla. Dark colour consistent with dark fruit profile. Lovely depth and balance on the palate but still with that slightly "spikey", pinched character I find in many 98s. Last glass on the second night was briefly stupendous before it started to oxidise a little. Really dark fruited and deep with lovely, caressing mouthfeel. A complete wine.
