Thursday, February 29, 2024 - WOW! Lemon, yellow apple, green apple, tart red berries, mineralogy, and some lees. A lot happening here and not really a time or place for critical direction of the wine, but easily the best balanced and most nuanced with concentration, depth, and intensity.

Mystery blend of grapes, vintages, vineyards with more complexity and balance than anything else from Bouchard this evening, and showing brilliantly. A first tasting note of “WOW” and though it might be sacrilege with this producer, tempting to call this a Tête de Cuvée and argue for some blending.
