Monday, December 25, 2023 - Brick on the rim but shading to plum at the core. The color, as all aspects of this wine, continued to evolve throughout the dinner. Bright cranberry, plum, and cassis on the attack followed by tobo, saddle leather and abundant graphite; a deliciously crunchy wine. This is completely seamless from bouquet to finish. Everything in its place and everything in harmony. Rich, complex, ever evolving. This is why we buy Bordeaux. Surprisingly little sediment, but gently decanted nonetheless. 13.5% alc. With beef tenderloin in rosemary butter. 12.25.23. Highly Recommended.
