Tuesday, January 2, 2024 - On the nose, there is a little bit of rubber. There is some prune, black currant, fresh cut grass. Some simple berry-grapes aroma as well. A little bit of oak but well integrated.
The palate largely confirms the nose. The body is medium+, so are the acid and tannins. It’s a little oily. The alcohol is high but not overwhelming.

It isn’t a complicated wine but damn is it a great value and representation for South Africa. I really love the Kadette range now.
