Monday, January 18, 2021 - very cloudy ruby - spice and earth on the nose - clove, allspice, nutmeg, turned earth. Spiced stewed plums, ripe red raspberry, lingonberry jam, and maraschino topped creme anglaise. a little riper on the palate and more oak influences, some phenolic bitterness. Deep overripe black fruit, burnt toast, black licorice, cherry cola, plenty of alcoholic thrust. Lingering sweet finish.
