Saturday, March 12, 2011 - Popped and decanted for 9 hours prior to serving. Still not enough time as it was still a bit closed. Dark clear red in color with an intoxicating nose of funky, earthy dirt cobined with a slight sweet spicey combination of currant, cherry and tobacco. Closed flavors of spice, and red fruits with a medium plus body. 15 second finish. Needs lots more time. Servd with Short Ribs.
