Saturday, September 3, 2016 - Wine of the evening for me - just inching out Talbot '86. Obviously the two wines were at different stages in their lives but Lynch Bages stole it by a sublime expression of elegance combined with power. A more slender wine at the moment vs the '86 Talbot. Fantastic mocca component on the nose together with spices plus red and dark berries. Great balance and structure on the taste. Magnificent.
