Sunday, September 7, 2003 - Tasted unblinded at 2000 Bordeaux horizontal at the home of Marshall Banker. Opaque purple robe with purple rim. Clean nose, showing very intense aromas of licorice, black currants, kirsch, game and creosote. Full-bodied on the palate, with huge, ripe tannins, relatively high acidity and similar flavors as for the nose. Long finish with a bit of heat. Classic Lynch.
