Thursday, March 28, 2024 - I purchased this bottle after having a sip at an Italian wine tasting. The 2021 Le Serre Nuove is a very nice wine that needs some time. I popped and I let it breathe for several hours before tasting. One day one the wine was closed up. One day two the fruit began to emerge. On day three the wine began to shine. There is a fine layer of tannin that needs some time to wear away. I would recommend holding for five years. Is it worth $69 a bottle? I'm not positive.
