Wednesday, April 3, 2024 - LSN 2021 performs at top-level already today - the obvious conclusion after having thoroughly enjoyed the new vintage of this Bolgheri flagship (v21, 14.5% ABV, 50% Merlot, 28% Cab Sauvignon, 11% Franc, 11% PV). Dark ruby, purple reflections, semi-translucent w darkish core in appearance. The nose is packed w exquisite ripe dark fruit - cherries, plums, blackberries, spice, a tad reductive f first pour, smoke, earth, licorice dried herb. Balsamic, dense mouthfeel, elevated by m+ acidity, fruit-driven, grainy, blood-grape bitter finish!
