Sunday, March 31, 2024 - This is for the members of the “Big Pinot Club” at which it excels. Very dark color. Kind of musky and mildly oaky on the nose with with ripe currants and blackberries. Lighter on the palate than the color would indicate. There is a taste kind of like the tree bark and cloves we get with red wines from Chile. Really nice balance between the fruit, oak, alcohol and acid. More red fruit and red licorice toward the finish.
