Saturday, February 17, 2024 - Chilled in the fridge for 15-30 mins.
Medium body. Smooth with a dry finish. Soft yet with a bright acidity.
Sweet tobacco and violet on the nose. Oak, black pepper, blackberry, ripe red plum. A short bitey finish, grounded in cacao.
Enjoyed this young Argentinian malbec with gorgonzola mushroom rocket gnocchi; the bitey finish complimented the pungency of the gorgonzola far more pleasingly than I was expecting. Good start to the Naked Wines box.
