Saturday, August 31, 2019 - Reddish granite in colour. Not inky or thick. Medium weight. Aromas of blueberries, dark berries, vanilla, florals.
Flavours show blueberry compote, blackberries, spices, vanilla and some smoked meat and pepper on the mid palate to finish. Nice decent length to the finish. Feels like the acidity is waning a bit . But otherwise very nice drinking, easy, good complexity. The tannins are almost non-existent now, but still drying.
