Friday, September 17, 2010 - Popped and poured. Light clear red ruby. Aromas of tea, forest floor, much more complex
and less overtly fruit driven; the change here from a few years ago in terms of the evolution
from very fruit driven to not is quite remarkable, especially for California Pinot Noir. Over the
next hour or so the underlying fruit became more pronounced and RRV texture began to reassert
itself. Very complex and interesting wine.
