Friday, January 12, 2018 - Another very strong showing for aged Littorai C-noirs. While Roman may lack some of the nuance (a certain hard to capture "etherialness") that some of the other vineyard bottlings seem to possess, never the less its a great wine that was showing no signs of age or deterioration. On the nose it was strawberries and plum intertwined with hints of rose and black tea. On the palate it was a little more straightforward with more cherry and plum notes mixed with hints of forest floor and spice. Great bottle.
