Friday, April 26, 2024 - Amazing density of citrus and white fruits. Sweet and spherical in the mouth with great salinity and acidity driving the long finish and giving you no choice but to come back for more. The toasty oak is well balanced. This could be the best young Clos de la Mouchère that I have tasted. Highly recommended.

4/28/2024 10:45:00 AM - Love this juice! Wow- quick question, I have limited experience with ‘22s as last year in Burg was mainly ‘21s… what are your thoughts on the vintage through the lens of Henri Boillot?

4/28/2024 11:10:00 AM - Henri Boillot has been making some of the best whites in recent years, and based on the first two bottles that I tasted, has excelled in 2022. I particularly like that alcohols are not elevated the way they were in 2019s and 2020s. The fruit textural density in the mouth and juiciness are also perfect. I want to wait until I try them side by side with other producers, but if this is an indication of how the wines will show in many domaines compared to other vintages, this is a great vintage. It will also be open for early enjoyment if that is what you seek.
