Tuesday, November 21, 2023 - Drank at the Domaine and from barrel. Holy crap! I didn't think a young Chablis could taste better than Les Preuses, but I was wrong! This is what Chablis is all about! The wine is like a symphony....it start out slow with well rounded fruit (citrus and tropical) the the acidity kicks in and the buildup begins....a half a second later, the minerality emerges showing some oyster, flint and limestone (but more chalky). The mouthfeel remains rounded, but the flavors are bursting! An awesome experience in what I am confident will be a magical wine! 95-96 points now (if I was rating), and will gain points as it ages! Magnificent!
