Thursday, January 18, 2024 - Howard Ripley '22 Burgundy: It's not exactly what I'm looking for from a Chablis but forgetting typicity for a second, it's objectively very good stuff. Exotic and appealing signature to the oak which is just about restrained alongside a green apple note. Refined and contained concentration on the palate, sharp acidity with a cossetting depth and long pithy finish. Yum.
