Thursday, October 8, 2009 - 2007 Southern Rhone Tasting (Bell's): Again, somewhat disappointed in this bottle - I had heard it was going to be a blockbuster! The nose was full of oatmeal, baking bread, cherries, and plums. The wine itself was a bit thin, but did have a nice elegance. This wine has the potential to grow and age into a solid mid-90s CdP, so I'm excited I have a couple of these slumbering.
