The alcohol is apparent on the nose as the wine warms in the glass, obscuring to some extent those characteristic Grenache aromatics that we look for. The wine is reasonably well structured and did not strike me as jammy since there is a backbone of acid, but I can't say that is particularly complex. Let's hope for the best...
