Monday, February 20, 2012 - This has really settled down compared to my other bottle 2 years ago. Still very ripe, with a slightly roasted character. Palate was densely concentrated, although lacking in complexity, with dark stewed fruit--but seemed fresher than upon release. Finish was tarry and a little short. Odd that the "over ripeness" that really put me off on release has receeded some. Still in a forward, ripe fleshy style, but more balanced this time. Good if you like this style.
