Saturday, February 9, 2013 - The nose shows masses of ripe dark berry fruit, herbs, sweet spices, savory beef reduction and the slightest hint of heat. On the palate, it was round and full with jammy red berries and mulling spice that lasted through the long, palate staining finish.

The 2007 vintage has seriously left it's mark on this wine. It continues to show such overripe and jammy features with a mark of heat. This was my last bottle and in a way, I'm happy it's all gone.
