Sunday, November 17, 2013 - Sometimes, when the nights are getting colder and darker, all you need is a big, strapping hearty wine and this basically ticks every single box - plump, ripe and curvy with sweet, juicy fruit - but then there is the complexity and the sexy tannins. Very open straight from the off, with raspberry, fruit compote and black fruits - some garrigue in there and a delicate, sweet finish. This has the guts for some long term ageing but it is going to be hard to resist when it tastes this good.
