Friday, May 9, 2014 - Cellarmaster Tasting at Chateau Montelena (Chateau Montelena, Calistoga): An underrated vintage for this wine in my opinion as this was very lovely. Aromas of lavender, red and black currants, cocoa nibs, spice and violets. Tannins are firm but fine-grained and approachable. Flavors of red currants, berries, spices and florals. Lingering finish; elegant. Drink from 2019+.
