Monday, February 16, 2015 - Approaching tawny color. Medium weight (which is to say pretty elegant for vintage port), moderately sweet plum, herbs, and spice. Still a smidgeon of alcohol sticking out but this is still pretty much "a point" and as good as it's going to get, which is to say high quality but not memorable in any way.
After an overnight stay in the decanter, more in the way of figs and dusty cocoa. Powerful and the heat is still noticeable in the mid-palate.
