Friday, April 12, 2019 - Dinner at S.K.Y. (Chicago, IL): Tasted side-by-side with 89. Original release. Super-complex and layered nose with bright mature red cherries and an array of tertiary notes including old leather, mushroom, smoked meat, tea and spice. The palate is still quite vibrant and round. Reminds me of Chambolle given the elegant and lacy style, yet packed with depth. More evolved, and complex, than the 89 Library release.
