Monday, June 15, 2015 - Started nicely, but after about an hour in the glass, this was pretty special, loaded with red fruit and black currant and cigar box spices. The next three hours were just as nice. Powerful aromas and flavors, still possessing fine tannins providing structure, and with a finish that won't quit.

Looking back at previous tasting notes, it appears I was wrong about its aging potential. This is probably at peak now, and probably has at least five years left. Definitely a case of "the last bottle is the best."
