Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 - We breathed the wine for one hour and thirty minutes before tasting, but it truly need more than two hours in a decanter. Dark purple red with a hint of brown on the eye. I think we will wait another 5+ years to drink the last bottle. Black fruits, fair amount of alcohol still evident, pepper all on the nose. Powerful wine not for the faint of heart or palate or nose. Strong, fruity tannins throughout the mouth. Fairly long finish. Great body...a Dolly Parton wine!
