Tuesday, October 28, 2008 - Popped and poured. Weighty nose of dark fruit, vanilla, earth, and licorice. Full bodied palate with ripe dark fruit, pepper, licorice, and a flash of alcohol at the end. Nice long finish. Smooth tannins, pleasant acidity and youthful exuberance. My last bottle. Wish I had more.
