Wednesday, December 3, 2008 - Dark black. Opens after an hour or so in the decanter with lots of wierd green pepper and balsam. The green notes blow off and leave a typical Veneto nose. I say typical but mean that whole apassimento, ripassa, ripasso thing. I used to love it but now just think its wierd. Lots of nice tannin and acid in the finish. Medium richness. Dry. Not as good as the 99 but better then succesive vintages.
