Saturday, April 13, 2024 - Great to be back to newest vintage of probably finest Blaufrankisch there is. Vines of 85-110 years of age, 24 months in large used barrels, no fining, no filtration, no additives, just pinch of sulphites. Deep ruby. Intense and rich aroma of blueberries, roasted herbs, blackberries, earth, bread, plum marmalade. Full body, explosive and powerful yet at same time tight and restrained, begs for 4-6 years to start unfurling its true potential. All in all its exceptional with great structure and firm tannins.
