Saturday, September 25, 2010 - My last experience with this wine, left me with an impression of an internationally style, however, on this night it came across and anything but that. The nose showed cherry liquor but was tempered by barnyard and a slight sawdust quality, which I found very attractive. On the palate, I found juicy blackberry fruit with spices and cracked black pepper. This wine started out linier on the front palate and gained great depth by the finish. It was highly enjoyable.
