A younger hunter semillon notes with lots of citrus as a dominant factory with some floral notes. The acidity was more pronouced with a refined texture. This semillon is still very young and has a good future ahead of it. Compared to the 1996 Hunter Semillon, this had more fruit flavours and had not develop the classic secondary toasty notes.
