Saturday, July 5, 2014 - Deep red color. Fresh aromas of boysenberry, kirsch liqueur and underbrush. Ripe, beautifully balanced, masculine fruit in the mouth with great depth and length and fully-integrated tannins and oak. Not overly complex but very full and enveloping on the palate. This delicious, modern-styled Burgundy was truly a "thrill a sip" wine.
