Friday, July 28, 2023 - Brown red. Fig, potipurri, Lavender on nose. Quite profound and complex. On the palate dried strawberry, dried cherry and blackcurrant. Mature forest floor, earthiness and asphalt tar complementing the smoke meat and peppery notes and touch of soy sauce on the finish. A bit lighter than others but a very serious La Mouline - certainly not an "off vintage"!!
