Friday, August 24, 2018 - Herb crusted lamb chops were on he menu and I wanted to find a wine with savory notes and moderate structure to match. This did the trick. A more warm, red, mourvedre style complexion. Nice shimmer in the glass. Not the most dynamic CdP but delivered a good mouthfeel and red fruit and dried herbs/spices aroma. Was outgunned by a pair of '01s served around the same time (Pegau, Chave Hermitage - serious juice), but was happy with how the Bosquet had held up over time. Seems to be in a nice drinking plateau right now, my guess it will hold here for a while.
