Sunday, April 25, 2010 - Started out tight, with notes of pencil shavings and minerality, slate. After a few hours the nose was potent toasted vanilla, the a strong berry note came out on the palate. A very nice wine that was still improving. Would be nice to try it again in 5-10 years.
