Saturday, February 28, 2009 - A tie with the Monte for wine of the night.
Kind of a big daddy.
Showed up late - forgettable early in the night.
Med. acidity; med. tannins.
Dark red fruit, red currants.
Espresso notes on the nose.
Longish finish.
Obviously high quality but not super interesting.
My last drunken scribbles were "If I want Bordeaux I will drink this."
