Friday, March 21, 2014 - Rather pale red, translucent colour. A discrete Pinot nose with strawberries, cherries, some spice, and a bit of mineral. Medium bodied(-), palate with strawberries, cherries, a bit of spice, rather good acidity and medium- tannins that feel like they have some oak influence and that linger in the aftertaste. Rather well balanced, not too complex and drinks OK now, but feels like it is in a stage where it could gain from a few more years to develop some mature notes and for the tannins to resolve themselves.
