Tuesday, April 9, 2024 - Discounted price of $20 at Costco. Even with a five hour decant, the high acidity and tannins dominated. It did open up in the glass enough to identify the Sangiovese but the dominant impression was the struggle to reveal the fruit. Perhaps time will soften this into something more drinkable.
