Friday, March 15, 2013 - S1 visits Dallas! Opening Cantata. (Urbano Cafe, Dallas, Texas): WIML92

Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Opened about 2 hours before serving.

Garnet color in the glass, dusty looking throughout. Nose of melted black licorice, currants, dark plums, pepper and a bit of dust. Flavors of dried currants, buts and a splash of sorghum. Medium acidity, full bodied. Throwing a fair amount of sediment. Drink now. Surprised this LBV bottled in 1974 has held up so well.
